Cass's Route¶
Spoilers ahead
This guide explains Cass's shared storyline, including the heist reveal and relationship outcomes. Intimate events are summarized without graphic detail.
Cass's story develops inside Lily's numbered route. She first appears in Chapter 6, becomes central to the Rupert rescue and supermarket heist, and later has her own bedroom visit and repeatable relationship interactions. The numbers below retain Lily's chapter IDs, so they match the progression you actually follow in the game.
The two unlocks are different
Lily 29-0 is Cass's first personal bedroom story event. Her repeatable Something more... conversation option requires Lily's progression to reach 32-0 or later. Completing 29-0 alone does not open every repeatable option.
Chapters 6–10 — Meeting Cass¶
Lily 6-0 — The friends arrive¶
Where: Upstairs hallway at My House. When: Morning, on a later day than the previous Lily event.
Janice announces Lily's visitors, and Ethan meets Cass and Molly in the hallway. Cass's directness and Molly's quieter manner establish their contrasting roles in the friend group. This is the first introduction; Chapter 18 is a later visit to their house.
Next: Return to the upstairs hallway at night for the sleepover follow-up.
Lily 6-1 — The sleepover conversation¶
Where: Upstairs hallway, outside Lily's room. When: Night or late night.
The girls discuss Ethan after their earlier meeting. Cass is the most outspoken, and the conversation gives the player context for the way she will encourage Lily later.
Next: Continue Lily's intervening story steps. Cass does not yet have an independent daily chapter chain.
Lily 10-0 — The treehouse invitation¶
Where: Living room at My House. When: Morning or afternoon, on a later day than the previous Lily event.
Complete Lily's invitation to spend time with her friends. This prepares the group gathering; going directly to the treehouse before receiving the invitation does not replace the chapter.
Next: Go to the treehouse before night.
Lily 10-1 — The group at Fort Awesome¶
Where: Treehouse. When: Morning through evening, after 10-0.
Join Lily, Cass, and Molly for their group game. Cass's teasing helps drive the conversation, while the evening becomes an important relationship moment for Ethan and Lily. The group continues talking afterward.
Next: Follow Lily's subsequent household chapters until the Rupert search begins. The full guide covers those intervening events individually.
Chapter 18 — Rupert and the plan¶
Lily 18-0 — The missing pet¶
Where: Upstairs hallway at My House. When: Morning or afternoon, on a later day than the preceding Lily event.
Lily needs help finding Rupert, her pet rat. Agree to investigate and follow the search downstairs. This starts the longer sequence that brings Cass and Molly into the problem.
Next: Enter the basement.
Lily 18-1 — Search the basement¶
Where: Basement at My House.
Join Lily in the basement and finish the search conversation. The scene directs attention toward Rupert's hiding place.
Next: Interact with the hole in the wall. Merely entering the basement again is not the required action for the following subchapter.
Lily 18-2 — The hole in the wall¶
Where: Basement. Action: Click Rupert's hole.
Confirm where Rupert is hiding and learn why ordinary food will not lure him out. Lily wants a particular imported cheese, which leads the pair to ask her friends for help.
Next: Visit Molly's room in Ashton's House.
Lily 18-3 — Ask Molly¶
Where: Molly's bedroom.
Ethan and Lily explain the cheese problem to Molly as she gets home from work at the Library. Molly joins the effort, and the group decides to bring Cass into it.
Next: Go to Cass's bedroom. This is a separate room visit, not an automatic continuation from Molly's room.
Lily 18-4 — Cass's proposal¶
Where: Cass's bedroom.
Cass proposes a much more elaborate solution than Ethan expected: a supermarket heist. Finish the discussion about the plan and the promised favor. Her role in arranging the operation becomes important again during 29-0.
Next: Meet everyone at Fort Awesome on a later day, from the afternoon onward.
Lily 18-5 — The planning meeting¶
Where: Treehouse. When: A later day, afternoon or later.
Meet Cass, Molly, and Lily for the final preparations. The group assigns roles and goes over Operation Cheesin' Our Way In. The scene advances time to late night for the mission.
Next: Travel to the supermarket exterior while it is late night.
Chapters 19–20 — The heist and its aftermath¶
Lily 19-0 — Outside the supermarket¶
Where: Supermarket exterior. When: Late night.
Meet the group outside the closed store and complete the entry sequence. The keypad belongs to this exterior chapter. Enter 7 → 5 → 1 → 8 → 3 in order; a wrong digit restarts the input sequence, so begin again at 7.
Next: Enter the supermarket. Cass remains part of the operation rather than returning to her bedroom between these two steps.
Lily 19-1 — The cheese mission¶
Where: Inside the supermarket. When: Night or later, after the entry sequence.
Follow the group's infiltration and cheese retrieval. The scene handles the obstacles, the increasingly theatrical operation, and the trip back home. Ethan ends the night exhausted after helping Lily bring back what Rupert needs.
Next: Sleep and return to Ethan's bedroom for the next-day reminder.
Lily 19-2 — The morning reminder¶
Where: Ethan's bedroom. When: A later day, before night.
Ethan recalls the mission and decides to check the basement. This brief scene is its own progression step even though it mainly points to the next location.
Next: Head downstairs to the basement.
Lily 20-0 — Check on Rupert¶
Where: Basement. When: Morning through evening.
Check the cheese and Rupert's hiding place with Lily. Play through the rescue's outcome and her reaction to the help she received.
Next: Follow Lily to her bedroom for the separate conversation in 20-1.
Lily 20-1 — Lily's thanks¶
Where: Lily's bedroom.
Finish the personal conversation after the rescue. Cass's plan has solved the immediate problem, but the favor connected to it is still part of the story's later development.
Next: Enter the upstairs hallway on a later day to see Lily heading over to her friends.
Chapters 21–27 — Cass behind the scenes¶
Lily 21-0 — A visit to the neighbors¶
Where: Upstairs hallway at My House. When: A later day.
Ethan sees Lily leaving to speak to Cass and Molly. The short exchange establishes where she is going and leads into the girls' conversation.
Next: Let the follow-up scene play; you do not have to follow her manually into Molly's room.
Lily 21-1 — Advice from Cass and Molly¶
Trigger: Automatic follow-up after 21-0.
The viewpoint follows Lily to Molly's room, where Cass is already waiting. The friends offer very different advice about Lily's relationship with Ethan. Cass's bold suggestions help explain the next household visit.
Next: Return to Ethan's bedroom in the evening or later for 22-0.
Lily 22-0 — The evening visit¶
Where: Ethan's bedroom. When: Evening or later.
Lily comes to Ethan after the conversation with her friends. Finish the discussion, then follow her to the room where she feels more comfortable.
Next: Enter Lily's bedroom for 22-2.
Lily 22-2 — The private follow-up¶
Where: Lily's bedroom, after 22-0.
Complete Lily's relationship scene. The active progression uses 22-2, so 22-1 is not a missing visit to Cass or Molly. Staying at Ethan's computer does not finish this bedroom portion.
Next: On a later day, enter Ethan's bedroom to launch the next story cutaway.
Lily 23-0 — News at the pool¶
Start at: Ethan's bedroom. When: A later day than the preceding event.
The story follows Lily as she updates Cass and Molly at the pool. Cass encourages her to take the next step, while the conversation shows how involved the friends have become in the relationship.
Next: Visit Lily's bedroom on a later evening for 24-0. You do not need to find the three girls at the pool yourself.
Lily 24-0 — A new development¶
Where: Lily's bedroom. When: Evening or later, on a later day.
Play through the chapter's conversations and intimate development. Cass and Molly's involvement extends beyond giving advice, setting up the later discussion about what they know.
Next: Allow another day to pass and continue before night for 25-0.
Lily 25-0 — Comparing notes¶
Trigger: Story cutaway on a later day, morning through evening.
Lily visits her friends to share the news. The conversation reveals that Cass and Molly already know more than they initially admit. Their private exchange afterward continues Cass's scheming role in the arc.
Next: Return to Ethan's bedroom in the evening or later. The active route advances to 27-0; there is no required Chapter 26 visit.
Lily 27-0 — Another evening together¶
Where: Ethan's bedroom. When: Evening or later.
Complete Lily's next relationship event and its morning aftermath. This is the household event that she discusses with Cass and Molly in the following subchapter.
Next: Continue on a later day before night for 27-1.
Lily 27-1 — The favor comes due¶
Trigger: Follow-up on a later day, morning through evening.
Lily tells Cass and Molly about the latest development. The discussion turns to the favor promised during the Rupert mission, and Lily sets a condition before the friends act on it.
Next: Enter Ethan's bedroom for the group's arrival.
Chapters 28–31 — Cass's personal visit¶
Lily 28-0 — The friends arrive together¶
Where: Ethan's bedroom.
Cass and Molly arrive to discuss the favor, with Lily involved in the arrangement. Finish the conversation before trying Cass's room. Although they discuss evening plans, you can start this conversation without waiting for Night.
Next: Go to Cass's bedroom in Ashton's House.
Lily 29-0 — Cass's room and the reveal¶
Where: Cass's bedroom. Requirement: Complete 28-0.
This is Cass's first personal bedroom story event. During the intimate scene, she reveals how much of the heist she staged: the costumes, the fake laser setup, the alarm, and the supposed danger all served her plan. It reframes the operation Ethan thought the group had survived together.
Next: Visit Molly's bedroom for 30-0. Cass's event advances the shared route, but her full repeatable relationship option remains tied to reaching Chapter 32.
Lily 30-0 — Molly's part of the arrangement¶
Where: Molly's bedroom.
Complete Molly's personal visit. Although this scene focuses on Molly, it is a required continuation of the same arrangement and cannot be bypassed by repeatedly talking to Cass.
Next: Allow a day to pass, then continue before night for Ethan's conversation with Lily.
Lily 31-0 — Clear the air with Lily¶
Trigger: A later day, morning through evening.
Ethan talks with Lily about the visits to Cass and Molly. Finish this relationship conversation to resolve the immediate concern about what she knows and how she feels.
Outcome: Lily's progression reaches 32-0, opening Cass's repeatable Something more... option. The shared group story continues below.
Chapters 32–34 — The next group plan¶
Lily 32-0 — Cass and Molly compare plans¶
Trigger: Automatic story follow-up, morning through evening.
Cass and Molly talk after swimming. Their conversation develops into a new idea involving Molly's old costume. This is a cutaway showing the plan taking shape; Ethan does not need to buy or deliver the costume.
Next: Enter the upstairs hallway before night.
Lily 33-0 — Cass's invitation¶
Where: Upstairs hallway at My House. When: Morning through evening.
Cass and Lily approach Ethan with an invitation to help Molly. Cass's amusement makes Ethan suspicious, but the conversation sets the next meeting at Fort Awesome.
Next: Visit the treehouse before late night.
Lily 34-0 — The treehouse gathering¶
Where: Treehouse. When: Morning through night, after 33-0.
Molly is waiting in costume, and Cass and Lily join the gathering. Play through the staged check-up and the group intimate event. This completes the next shared payoff in Cass's story with the friend group.
Next: Cass's regular interactions remain available. Lily's later Chapter 35 has its own follow-up in her guide.
Cass's repeatable relationship¶
Once Lily's progression reaches 32-0 or later, visit Cass and choose Something more... to access her repeatable relationship options. Ordinary conversation about work or her pet remains separate from this unlock.
Return for different interaction choices and conversations after completing her shared story with Lily and Molly. These visits use Cass's regular conversation menu and do not require advancing another chapter counter.
In builds with the expanded family system, Cass also has pregnancy messages, conversations as the pregnancy advances, and a birth/family follow-up. Those add further development after the numbered shared story; they do not require replaying the supermarket heist.
If you are stuck¶
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| Cass has not appeared | Progress Lily to 6-0, then visit the upstairs hallway in the morning. |
| The heist group is not at the supermarket | Complete the 18-5 treehouse briefing and arrive at the exterior in late night. |
| The keypad keeps failing | Enter 75183; a wrong entry restarts from the first digit. |
| The story seems to stop after the heist | Complete 19-2, 20-0, and 20-1 before moving on. |
| Cass's bedroom does not start her personal event | Finish the arrival scene in Ethan's room at 28-0. |
| Something more... is grey after Cass's visit | Complete Molly's 30-0 and Lily's 31-0 so progression reaches 32-0. |
| A friend-group scene mentions another location | Some chapters are automatic viewpoint cutaways; use the trigger listed above. |
